I'll have to get my hands on it somehow, because the acetone stuff smells terrible and makes any cuts on my fingers sting!Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04611565125975953606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6608326599891101684.post-85292397725058653382013-01-26T11:17:19.451-08:002013-01-26T11:17:19.451-08:00WOW, I had no idea you could make it yourself! Thanks for the tips! :D

I, too, tend to read makeup blogs and watch YouTube videos, but do not really enjoy makeup. It definitely is a comfort thing!Lolohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04782777195648272520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6608326599891101684.post-71097083246415441482013-01-24T14:04:02.184-08:002013-01-24T14:04:02.184-08:00Haha I'm one of those people that is into all ...Haha I'm one of those people that is into all kinds of beauty products, I have been for as long as I remember. Zoya Remove + is probably one of the best nail polish removers out there. I too make my own dupe of it and it's so much cheaper. I buy pure acetone from Sally's, add pure glycerin and mix in water to emulsify the glycerin! It's exact to the Zoya Remove +. Well except for the great scent, of course =) But you can add your own oils, as Liz said. I'm looking into getting a gel nail system just so it offers my nails some strength and I can grow them out again.
Besides that I occasionally wear perfume and I have been known to sometimes break out my nice clothes for absolutely no reason.
I never used Zoya's remove because I can get the same results for a lot cheaper. Acetone + glycerine + whatever essential oils you want. Oh, and some coloring, though I wouldn't recommend food coloring as that would stain your hands.
I know an awful lot about makeup, but I've never really worn it, partially because I've never felt comfortable with it, partially because my skin has never gotten used to makeup and is super sensitive. That doesn't mean I won't read those makeup blogs and watch those YouTubers!Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14804234325450434702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6608326599891101684.post-59903946931336794682013-01-24T04:52:09.543-08:002013-01-24T04:52:09.543-08:00I'm not a girlie-girl makeup user either, but ...I'm not a girlie-girl makeup user either, but I love watching some of the beauty channels on YouTube. Sometimes I get inspired and feel 'I can do this!' or feel guilty for not fulfilling my womanly duty of indulging in cosmetics ... so sometimes I'll play around with nail polish or whatever. In the end though, because I'm an old lady firmly set in my ways, I just feel weird with painted nails or a bit of lip color and it's removed before anyone but me sees it.

*SIGH*

I still love watching beauty channels though!

~DebDebhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05658958620972494748noreply@blogger.com
