Howdy, folks! I'm here to review Influenster's Bloom VoxBox! I am so glad I got chosen for this box, it's a good one! Let's just into it!
The box is a nice light orange color this time around.
The card with the box's contents. Pretty!
The goodies! Lots of bath and body and beauty products in this one!
First up, Cutex's Advanced Revival nail polish remover pads. I LOVE these things. They work so ridiculously well! I don't feel like I'm wasting cotton balls or Q-tips or paper towels, plus extra polish remover. I found these worked best on manicures without glitter, which is both good and bad because more often than not, I am wearing a sparkly/glitter top coat. These works very well, and I found that, unlike advertised, one pad did not get all 10 nails, but it sure was close! I'd totally buy these.
I go back and forth of deodorant. I've used my favorite kind for nearly a decade, but the aluminum in it has me worried about the risks. Secret's Outlast Xtend does have aluminium in it, so steer clear if you watch that kind of thing. I used this deodorant twice. The smell is very nice, though I didn't find it outlasting my current products. In fact, no deodorant feels to me like it lasts, even the one I wear. I liked this though, and I might buy a full size stick just to see how it compares to the tiny one. On the third application, the entire deodorant part went flying off the mini stick and onto the lint-and-hair-and-life-littered carpet...needless to say, I tossed it.
Sinful Colors is a big brand in nail polish, mostly because of their super cheap prices. I tend to stick to OPI and KBShimmer, but I do have a few Sinfuls in my collection. This is VIP, it's a really nice light, sort of pastel sort of neon pink. No shimmer, no glitz, nothing. I love this! The formula is a little thick and the brush is a little flimsy, but I really enjoyed this. I need to paint my nails again, but I've been having some peeling problems and I cut them to minuscule nubs. It looks like one of the awful Kardashians made this color, so I'd never pick it for myself just based on knowing that.
If it makes me sound dumb, I'm fully prepared, but WUT IS HAIR OIL??? I am a no frills person when it comes to my hair, but before my birthday, I got it cut, and IT'S SO SHORT NOW. I'm still getting used to it. I put this in my hair a few times, but honestly, I don't know what the hell it's for. It also said it's for the face, but I'm not sure how I feel about putting oil on my face. I may try this on my nails instead.
Not Your Mothers seems to be a popular brand of products at the moment. This Plump For Joy stuff smells amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing. I've used it 4-5 times and I like it just because it makes my hair smell good. I know it adds some curls, but as far as plumping goes? Nah, not on me.
Sunbelt Bakery is a brand I've never tried before. If this fudge dipped chocolate chip granola bar is any indication, I may need to get acquainted with their other products. YUM!!!!!!!!!!! This was awesome! I saw on Pinterest that other people got an oats and honey variety of this product, so I'll be on the lookout for that one. TRY THIS ASAP!!!
So, this was a fantastic little box. As always, I got it for free from Influenster, but all thoughts and opinions are my own!
A blog devoted to any and all things scented, from candles to soaps and food and everything in between, with the occasional subscription box review, too!

To Try: Influenster's NYC New York Color VoxBox!
I was selected by Influenster to try out the new NYC New York Color Big Bold line of mascara (Angel Lash) and liquid eyeliner (Big Bold & Precise felt tip liner). I got these products for free to try from Influenster and anyone can sign up for a free account! Let's take a look at these products!
The products fresh in the package! I really like the pictures on the sides to display how each should look when being used.
And here's the card that came in the package explaining what each task will be for the Influenster portion of the trial. Apparently Demi Lovato sponsors this product? Well, she has questionable taste. Each product has a specific promise: the mascara will be bold and light, 7 times more volume with 16 hours of wear and no weight, and the felt liner will have a 2-in-1 felt tip with 10 hour long lasting wear formula. Bold promises, amirite?
The mascara package up close and the back information.
Eyeliner packaging and back information.
Both products out of their packaging. I am a sucker for purple, so I wouldn't hate carrying around this mascara, only the tube is HUGE. I don't think the photo does it justice. The eyeliner is your typical type of container for such a product, nothing special.
Out of 5, I give this mascara a 3.5. It does add a lot of volume in one layer, but once I upped it to 2-3 layers, it got SO clumpy! I had to remove this at least twice with 2-3 layers and once with one layer. I don't get why mascara can be so clumping. I really liked the feel of this on my lashes and it didn't feel heavy, but the clumpiness knocks it down a couple pegs.
Thanks to Influenster for letting me be part of this trial, even though I didn't care for the eyeliner! And again, I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. Check out the hashtag #NYCBigBold on Twitter and Instagram for more reviews and thoughts!

Out of 5, I have to give this eyeliner a 1. This stuff sucks! Not only was it streaky when applied to a fresh face, but it was clumpy and clumsy to apply because of this HUMONGOUS tip! Here's the swatch of it on my wrist:
LOOK at that thing! It's so weird! It was like a sharpie on my eyes. On top of this, it had a very weird and chemically smell, something I've never smelled before from any of the other eyeliners I have tried. Yikes! This stuff was a disaster of epic proportions. Needless to say, I am glad this was free to try from Influenster because I would not buy this. Thanks to Influenster for letting me be part of this trial, even though I didn't care for the eyeliner! To Try: Influenster's Rose VoxBox!
Yes, I simultaneouly received two VoxBox's from Influenster to try for free! AND I LOVED IT. WOOHOO!
This is by far the most stacked VoxBox I've received! Everything was packaged pretty nicely, and even though the belVita breakfast biscuits were wrapped in bubble wrap, they managed to break apart in the package. Such is the life is a biscuit! I love the boxes where you get something from each part of life: beauty, health, food, etc, it just makes each box more fun to open! Now, I will take you on a trip through the box, so you can see what all I received!
Here's the card detailing all the products with their prices and size!
First off, the luscious, delicious Lindor milk chocolate truffle! MMMMMM. I have had these chocolates many times in my life and I really enjoy them. The chocolate on the outside isn't super cloyingly sweet, and the milky, smooth inside is really delish. There was only one of these in this package, so I (selfishly) wished there were more. :P
Next, we have belVita breakfast biscuits. Now, these I have tried in the past. I hate to say it, and while these do boast whole grains and increased fiber content, these are basically glorified cookies. Come on now, let's be real...they are sweet, very sweet, and do taste good, but there's no way these aren't cookies. The blueberry is nice, even though blueberry isn't my favorite flavor.
Fact about me: I have weird feet. Yeah, it's strange, but I have weird, wide feet. Well, I was skeptical about the Dr. Scholl's for Her Cozy Cushions because they were so puffy and large, but they are actually really nice and comfortable! As you can see, they are covered in fuzz, which means nothing for San Diego weather. I don't own a varied selection of shoes, and I just wear one set of sneakers, but I put these insoles in my shoes anyways. They are nice, but I have noticed that my big toe seems to have made a larger dent in these insoles that the rest of my foot, LOL. I don't know if I would buy them though, especially since they are more of a wintery thing, but they get the job done. To see more about this product, click here!
Rimmel London's Scandaleyes Retro Glam is a really nice mascara with a humongous sized bottle. I love the heft of it, actually, because I need something to hold onto while I poke a stick in my eyeball. This is really volumizing! I like this mascara!

Next, we have the Kiss Gradation Polishes. Basically what you do is apply two coats of polish #1, let it dry, then apply one coat of the #2 polish on the top 1/3 of the nail, then before it's done drying, smear them together using polish #3, which is a glitter top coat. The look was actually quite cool, see for yourself!
One coat of polish #1.
Two coats of polish #1.
One coat of polish #2 on the top of the nail.
Finished look! I love how it looks like it belongs at a New Years party, and I may reuse this for the purpose!
Finally, we have the Vitabath hydrating lotion in the scent Beach Blossom. This is veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery floral and sort of greasy, so it wasn't my favorite product. I feel like it took forever to blend into my skin, and the scent didn't really ever go away. It sort of gave me a headache. Not a purchase for me.
Anywho, that's my review of the Rose VoxBox! Have you tried Influenster or any of the products they sent me to try for free? If you want a referral link, let me know and I can give you mine! :)

To Try: Influenster's VoxBox featuring Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation!
Do you use foundation? Well, I go through phases where I love it and hate it.
I have always had a problem with powdered formulas because they get too drying on my skin. And it's blotchy and itchy and silly looking.
Enter Rimmel London's Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation.
Now, keep in mind, I got this product for free from Influenster. I am always sort of skeptical about getting products for free. I have no problem giving my honest opinions, but with makeup, I never know if what I have to say is relevant because I'm such a n0ob at it.
Well, this foundation ROCKS.
Not only is is not drying on my skin, but it's not heavy on it, either. It really does feel like mousse tastes: airy, light, and tasty (okay...not the last one, but you get the picture). It blended in really well into my skin, and did so flawlessly and in no time. It didn't cause those regular lines from drying that powdered foundations has caused before, and also didn't cause flaking on my face.
It matched my skin fairly well, though I feel like I am much lighter than "ivory," and found myself wondering is Rimmel London makes a color called "pasty white," HAHAH! Here it is just after it's smoothed on my hand slightly. Not bad! My hands are pretty chapped because of the weather changes we've been having, though, thus the lines in the foundations/my skin.
Anywho, as I said I got this product to try from Influenster to try for free, but I will most definitely be on the lookout to purchase it. I really liked this product and am glad I got selected!
