Project Wax #2, Update #5!

Hi! How are you all doing this fine weekend? Hope you are well! I cannot wait for this Project Wax box to be over, and I find myself growing more resentful that I haven't finished it yet. Anyways, here's my weekly update!

Candles from the Keeping Room's Flowerbomb: 7/10, another perfumey, green and floral type of scent, but this is very nice! I think the added floral notes makes this so great, and I might even repurchase this. It lasted 5 hours!

Haley's Heavenly Scents Harvest Spice: 9/10, this almost cured for an entire year, LOL. I found it at the bottom of a box and decided to put it in my PW box. This was an amazing spicy scent, could possibly be a dupe for Yankee's Harvest, but much stronger and way better quality. LOVED this, and will always repurchase it.

K's Kreations Sea Island Grapefruit: 7/10, I should have let this cure longer than I did, but it's okay because it was still great! Fresh, fruity grapefruit and a bit of sea-ness. Loved this, and it's not an armpitty grapefruit either, lol!

Lasting Scent Candles Sweet Snow: 5.5/10, not very strong, unfortunately. Very sweet, not my favorite scent. Something about it bugged me.

Pics, Petals & Scents Blackberry Jam Biscuits: 7/10, I have heard a lot about this scent, so I wanted to try it...it really does smell like biscuits and jam! That being said, I would no repurchase.

Streetman Candle Co.'s Chocolate Covered Banana: 6/10, I liked this, Josh did not. I was surprised how accurate this smells, considering I have terrible luck with chocolate and banana scents. Others will like this more. Throw was high!

Streetman Candle Co.'s Summer Days: 8/10, this is a dupe for Sun & Sand from Yankee Candle...IT HAS TO BE. It's insanely similar. I loved this, the day we melted this it was sunny and bright out, perfect summertime blend. Sun-tanny. Sun.

The Bathing Garden's Blackberry Jam & Lemon Curd: 6/10, the blackberry seems too floral for me, and there's not enough lemon curd, but this is nice. I found myself having to add cube after cube to get the throw I wanted. A fan favorite scent, but I prefer lemon curd & rose milk by 100 miles.

Tiffany Candles Blonde Moment: 7.5/10, fruity, flirty, and fun! This is a popular blend of strawberry (or other berries?), orange (maybe?), and champagne (or bubbles?). It's a bit different from every vendor, but Tiffany hit the nail on the head with this dupe. AMAZING scent, medium-high throw!

Tiffany Candles Caribbean Escape (type): 7/10, very similar to the Bath & Body Works scent. Liked this a lot, but the throw wasn't as strong as Blonde Moment's. Very coconutty and tropical. Great scent!

Two Timing Tart's Sex Kitten: 7/10, holy cow, I never thought I'd say this, but this is a patchouli scent I can actually enjoy! It's strong yet mild, if that makes any sense. Whatever else is in this tones it down to the point where the patchouli is tolerable. Fabulous!

Can-Do-Candles Cinnamon Spice: 4/10, I was really disappointed in this. This is the cinnamon I don't like, though the throw was medium. Eh.

Candles from the Keeping Room's Bamboo and Ginger: 7.5/10, extremely strong, earthy and perfumey scent, very nice. You have to be in the mood for this scent, though!

Candles from the Keeping Room's Lavender Noel Zucchini: 2/10, no, No, NO. NO! No zucchini! This is fritos! Taco shells! Disgusting. No lavender, no noel. NO ZUCCHINI. EVER.

Candles from the Keeping Room's Sugared Vanilla Shortbread: 6.5/10, a very sweet, buttery vanilla cookie scent, just like a shortbread cookie, lasted and lingered for a long time, too!

Front Porch's Blueberry Serendipity: 3.8/10, 8 on cold sniff, 3 while warming. Blueberry warming is not my friend. Ehhhhh, don't like this at all.

Front Porch's Pink Wildberries: 8.5/10, AMAZING blend! You actually smell the pink sugar in this, too! Creamy wildberry mousse mixed with pink sugar...so, so good. Loved it.

Haley's Heavenly Scents Autumn Pear: 4/10, while this is strong, I detect very little pear while warming...it's pretty much caramel city. Do not like. Pear was prevalent on cold sniff but slipped away.

Lasting Scent Candles Almond Rum Cake: 3.5/10, not my type of almond scent. The butter was way too overpowering and when mixed with rum and that weird almond, I was not a fan. This was super strong, though.

Lenea's Wax Creations Honeysuckle Plumeria: 7/10, a very, very sweet floral scent that lingered throughout the house with great throw. Very nice!

Molten Melts Pink Lemonade (7/10) + Scarlet Raine's Strawberry Passion (3/10): I started with the strawberry passion and got hardly anything from it. I added pink lemonade and got a medium throw from both of these. The pink lemonade wasn't overly artificial, actually.

Pics, Petals & Scents Berry Cream Brulee: 6/10, slightly creamy, but not overly so, medium strength. I left this on overnight, and woke up to a minimal berry scent lingering in the air. Decent!

Rosegirls Mandarin Cream Cake: 5.5/10, not a fan of this one, unfortunately. I didn't get very much of anything but a mandarin orange citrus scent. There is a distinction, trust me. This was astringent, too.

Rosegirls Summer Lovin: 8.5/10, this blend is apple mango tango mixed with marshmallow smoothie, and I LOVED IT! Fresh enough to be considered clean, but creamy enough to tone it down to be enjoyable any time. So, so good, and strong, too!

The Bathing Garden's Vanilla Layered Strawberry Kiwi: 10/10, this is such an incredible scent! The way the vanilla, strawberry and kiwi blend together makes this smell slightly like watermelon. It's strong, juicy, and delicious! SO GOOD!

Tiffany Candles Sweet Orange Chili Pepper: 8/10, the surprise of the week. I really enjoy this mix, and while it's not overly spicy, there's definitely some sort of a spicy note in there! Digging this mix.

Aunt Nena's Nilla Wafers: 7.5/10: my mom and her boyfriend came over to visit us and the pup, and they both said how good it smelled in the house! Well, this was going at the time, and I loved it, too. Very sweet and cookieish, medium throw, but lingered throughout the house.

Candles from the Keeping Room's Coconut Extreme: 5/10, forgettable, just a basic coconut scent.

Front Porch's Pumpkin Spice Cake: 6/10, the spices in this didn't agree with my nose, and I don't like Angie's cake scents (I get a greasy undertone from these blends), but this was okay for the most part. Just good enough to eek past middle of the road.

The Scented Princess Pink Sugar, Pina Colada, VBN: 7.5/10, a very fabulous blend, surprisingly! You get each individual note in here, and I'd definitely buy this on my own (I got this originally from Karen).

Tiffany Candles Loopy Verbena (3 pack finished): 6/10, this is a weird blend, but strong, nonetheless. not a repurchase, but it was nice enough.
