Wickless Wednesday: Random Target Haul!

My obsession with Target is well documented. How do you not love Target? Where else can you get curtains, weed wackers and Windex, baseball bats, cinnamon and spices, and wax tarts all under one roof?! I feel like we go to this store more than is socially appropriate. Maybe I should move in to one of the stores? I'd probably be able to survive a long time. It seems like I find excuses to take my sweet time leisurely walking through the aisles, looking for new items and fun trinkets. Gah, I love trinkets. And I love new, cool food things. So, I have my haul for you. Do you enjoy these kinds of posts? Let me know!
A local food blogger Instagram-ed a picture of the Noosa pumpkin flavored yoghurt and I instantly turned on my heels and high-tailed it to Target that same day. OH MAN, this is amazing stuff! It's like it has real pumpkin pie inside, sans crust. It's creamy, delicious, and wonderful, and I may or may not be on multiple tubs in a month. #NoShame
Pumpkin spice lattes might be back at Starbucks, but I've never seen this chai tea pumpkin concentrate! I am super excite to try this out.
Josh chose these two babies! The pumpkin spice ones are just okay, the pumpkin isn't spicy enough and the chocolate is waxy, but the cookies are good. I haven't tried the caramel apple pie cookies, but they smell SO good!
If you don't have kids, you'd probably have no idea that applesauce comes in pouches now. POUCHES. So, you're telling me, I can just drink my applesauce from one of these little tiny thingies and not even need to dirty a spoon? Maximum laziness achieved! Here's another addictive thing...and again, I may or may not have had 3 of these in one day when we brought these home.
Glade's new fall scents are out at Target! Red Apple Bakery smells pretty generic, minimal spice, pretty waxy smelling, too. This was the least favorite on cold sniff, but I will still melt it.
Woodside Library is one we have talked about in our waxy chat quite a bit. This does smell leathery, but of the two listed "ingredients," leather and oak, it's more tree-ish. Very mature and musky smelling, but I think this will be nice in the bathroom warmer.
Sage & Thyme Market is one I have already melted. 3 cubes two times and each time, it was pretty darn strong! It would have lasted longer, but it does get tiring after a while because it's pretty herbal smelling. Quite nice for fall!
Eos is a really cool lip balm in this weird sphere thing! I like the way it spreads across the lips usually, but it takes a while to "get going." Enter the coconut milk kind. For some reason, this "flavor" spreads SO wonderfully across the lips. It's never greasy and doesn't feel heavy on the lips. The scent is almost like a pina colada drink mixed with a tropical bubblegum. It's not overly sweet, which I like. I am usually a medicated lip balm/chapstick kind of gal, but this is a really nice change of pace. I have to keep this in the bedroom locked away in my dresser because Freddo likes to get his paws on the little spheres and chew through to the lip balm part, lol.

There's my Target haul! I have had this post almost finished for a week, but I figured I'd wait until Wednesday since it's not all wax related. What cool things have you found from Target lately?

Swift & Supersonically Snappy Short Review #36: Tiffany Candles Mega Post!

In addition, she has been doing pretty big restocks lately with new and exclusive scents and blends, so be on the lookout on her Facebook group page for those special dates!

Swift & Supersonically Snappy Short Review #34: iheartwax's Pomegranate Rosemary Mint

My closest waxy comrades are quite the blenders. Whereas I am afraid to take a chance on things because they might be horrid, they are sort of fearless. The below blend is no exception.
iheartwax's Pomegranate Rosemary Mint
Cold Rating8.5/10
Lit Rating: 9/10
Throw Rating: 10/10
Overall Rating: 9/10; gift from a very generous friend. THIS IS SO GOOD. So strong, so, so strong! Amazing throw. Delicious blend of herbal rosemary, mint and sweet pomegranate. WOW! Shattered expectations. Having creative waxy pals who make awesome blends. Another example of two scents that don't necessarily sound like they go together, but end up blowing my mind. Wanting my entire house to smell this good all the time. Having just recently discovered we have a rosemary bush in our backyard. Adding rosemary to everything. Juicy pomegranates. Thinking my entire childhood we had a pomegranate tree out front, only for it to be something else. Shattered childhood memories.

Order of the Odor: Volume 1

Welcome! This will be a monthly highlight of some great wax related posts from the previous month.

What is your ultimate fall scent comprised of?

Answer: My ultimate fall scent has to be something uber spicy, because to me, the spicier, the better. There's a difference between bakery cinnamon and homey cinnamon, though, and I love a good homey cinnamon, something that makes you feel warm and tingly inside, something that gives you a wonderful scent memory! A few scents off the top of my head like this, for me, would be Celtic Moonspice or Amish Quilt (which is often classified as bakery, though it never really smells "bakery" to me). I also like some apple thrown in with my cinnamon scents. To me, this makes a winning pair!

It's Always Something- Curious how Kim's Tarts are faring these days? Deb took the plunge and has had some great results.... to her husband's chagrin.

Fragrance Obsessed- Butterfly Lane is back open and trying new things, some work and maybe some need tweaking. Find out Sunnee's musings here.
