"American Cream, don't know what that's supposed to mean...But you make my house smell good, like no other wax tart could."
You wish you could flow like me.
Cold Rating: 6/10

Overall Rating: 7/10; unsure if I would like this based on its cold sniff scent, but it was really nice, even if it was unlike me to enjoy! Fresh but slightly creamy, perfumey but slightly fruity, what a complex scent with a lot of unidentifiable things! Milky, velvety. What does milk smell like to everyone else? Medium-high strength in the bathroom, lasted 6 hours. Round robins. Generous friends. Smelling clean. Wanting this in shower gel form. L*SH dupe (since apparently you can't say L*SH without problems???). Asterisks. Sucker for stars in wax.
My FAAAAAVVVVV!!! <3 glad you tried it! I know florals aren't usually high on most waxy love lists but I love this one. Milk. Hm. Milk smells like moist skin, babies and grass just on this side of dying. Weird. I am nota fan of milks in wax. Thankfully I do not get much cream in American Cream. :-) but I also don't get strawberry shakes either which it purports to have.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I liked it more than I thought I would! Your description of milk is sort of amazing, it encompasses so many levels of milkiness. I don't like milks in wax, either, but this is nice!
DeleteI would recognize those red and orange leaves on those labels anywhere :) It took me quite some time to like the scent of the american cream conditioner. Now, I'm a fan. Did I read correctly that there is also an AC shower gel ...suddenly want to take a trip to Lush. :)
ReplyDeleteJulie's labels are so cute, huh!? I need to try American Cream in conditioner and in gel! It might be better as a bath product! :)
DeleteI love this scent so much. I ordered a bag of this during the custom UTC opening.
ReplyDeleteDo you remember how much her bags are? I could use some more raw cake batter in massive quantities!! :)
DeleteI believe they were $9.25
ReplyDeleteOOO this one sounds amazing!!!
