Fall Fun Series: Fall Melting Stash!

Hey everyone! I'm here to show my fall melting stash. What I thought was a pretty big collection is actually quite small, and I *just* finished organizing it, thus the later than everyone else post! I cheated a little bit, I'm not taking photos of all of my candles because that would take too darn long, haha! Take a look!
One box. One. Lousy. Box. What's that? What's that, wax fairy?? You want me to buy some more fall scents??? Are you sure, wax fairy???
The most recent addition to the box comes from Butterfly Lane Scents, a favorite vendor of mine. Her Mountain Cider scent is to die for. Incredible fall blend. Had to have 2 bags, HAD TO.
Not sure why my stupid phone doesn't want to focus on her bags, but this is Amish Quilt, one out of two of my favorite fall time blends. Any vendor, any time, Amish Quilt is a go-to staple for fall!
The other of the two scents is Celtic Moonspice. I only have this little tiny scoopable from Rosegirls to sustain me. That wax fairy is getting pretty loud in my ear now...
A recent favorite addition to the fall blend favs, cinnamon glazed oranges from Rosegirls. Incredible. I've noticed these scoopables aren't as strong as some of the other RG wax I've had in the past, though.
I believe it's Julie who likes Cranberry Lodge from RG, right, J? I got this because someone is always raves about how wonderful it is, and for some reason, this strikes me as something Julie would like, too! It's lovely!
Country Charm from Candles from the Keeping Room is a scent I have been hoarding. I have one more bag somewhere in the house, but I can't find it. I bought 2 big bags like 2 years ago and have only used them sparingly. I know, I know, they are going to go bad eventually. But they work now, so that's all that matters! Her Mulled Cider is also quite fragrant and strong, it's definitely one to check out for apple and spice lovers. And more Amish Quilt, of course.
Sniff My Tarts is best known for their bakery blends, but her spicy scents are also excellent, if you can find the right ones! Farmer's Market is one of those scents. I should have got more when she opened last!
This pie is a year old and remains untouched. I love Brown Sugar Fig, but I haven't had the urge to melt it. I guess I should start soon.
These are the randoms. I have a couple of Christmas scents from Lasting Scent Candles from...last year? Earlier this year? I can't remember. And Mulled Apple Cider in the back from Dessa's is from Julie, I am melting it as we speak! It smells incredible and is wafting through the entire house as I type this out. I LOVE FALL!!

Sorry I don't have more melts to share with you, but if I buy any fall type stuff in the near future, I will be sure to haul it! What's in everyone else's stash?:

  1. You have nice little selection there! The scents you have from Butterfly Lane and Rosegirls. I need to check out those vendors I've never purchased from them before.

    1. Butterfly Lane has been one of the most consistent vendors I have found, since we reopened and started doing her ordering the way she does now. She opens for a while, fills orders, and then reopens, but does things like samplers in between, I think. Give her a try!!

  2. This is a great collection!!! And totally loving Butterfly Lane's bags. I think I remember enjoying her Mountain Cider. And YES! Rosegirls' Cranberry Lodge was one of two scents from my very first order ever from them. I love love love it. But I agree. I just cannot get the same throw from the scoopables as I did the chunks. Country Charm eh? You are the one who sold em on Full Moon from CFTKR but now it is no longer made so I keep hoarding my one bag of it like Scrooge. And yes, you turned me on to Amish Quilt too. <3

  3. I love this post Lauren! I think your stash may stretch out further than you think. It looks pretty meaty from here. But I did notice a lack of a certain Beezy scent .... ;)

    1. The BL scents will last a good long while, especially with me hoarding them! I only have one lil' ol' Apple Clove Butter. I keep missing his restocks!

  4. I've had weaker results in general from Rosegirls this year so it doesn't really surprise me that the scoopables might be weaker too.

Your stash looks fine! Those bags look pretty big so you probably get a ton of melts out of them, right? And are you melting less these days, since the movie biz took over?

    1. I wonder if it's ever since their expansion? I know Kathy is doing scoopables and jenny everything else, but it's really been a decrease in consistency, I'm seeing. Oh well.

Those bags are pretty big, 6 little paw prints per bag! I'm melting less these days, but not because of the movie biz, just because I haven't felt the itch I used to. Plus, with the A/C on all summer, I've noticed certain vendors do more poorly with the house closed up. it's weird!!

    2. I have inconsistent and weaker results during the summer too, and I think for me it's because the windows are open and the furnace is no longer kicking on to stir up the air. It's frustrating but I melt less during summer anyway because fruity, summery scents aren't huge favorites for me.

  5. Nice! So many lovely choices, too. And I'm with Deb up there, and you, too - some of my Rosegirls wax has been nearly totally devoid of scent this year. And then the ones I'm not so jazzed about nearly take off my head. Of course. :)

    1. I wonder what the issue is with them? Have you ordered scoopables from Kathy (Jenny's mom), too? It seems like there is a general inconsistency and I thought I might be going loopy since I don't order from her a whole lot anymore since she stopped doing custom orders, so I'm glad to see it's not just me, but sad to hear others are having the same issue. :(

  7. Thanks for the scoopable wax scoop! I've always wondered about the strength/performance compared to wax melts by the same vendor. Wax storage is an issue for me with just the smaller scent shots, so I don't want to get a larger/more expensive jar of wax if it doesn't perform as well.I have enough candles for that, LOL! Mountain Cider sounds exactly like my kind of scent, gonna check that one out. Here's hoping the wax fairy visits soon:)
