Random Picture Post: Non-Waxy Photos From the Last Few Weeks #7!

Random photo time, friends! And boy, are they random this time around!
We saw "Captain Phillips" a few weeks ago and LOVED it. Tom Hanks is just so incredible! Read our movie review here!
I had gone to do something one morning and when I came back, Freddo had popped his head out from underneath the blankets to lay on my pillow. LOL HE'S LIKE A HUMANS.
Getting so, so ridiculously excited to "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" time! Our movie theater put up this promotional poster series and it takes up about 1/4 of the huge wall. YAY!! :D
Not sure if the zoom on my camera picks up the sparkles, but the person in front of me at Starbucks has this super wonderful glittery license plate holder AND I HAVE TO HAVE ONE IT'S SHINY AND SPARKLES.
My mom had these pumpkin donuts from Entenmann's and they were pretty damn good. I may or may not have eaten two of them. Or two and a half, who is counting??
An interesting Target find: Hello We Are Some Chocolate Minis by Lindt. These bad boys were DELICIOUS! They contained 4 different flavors, my favorite was Strawberry Cheesecake. I'm not a huge fan of milk chocolate (I prefer dark), but these were dayum tasty.
Don't judge us.......but we've totally been buying Christmas decorations already. I KNOW, I KNOW, IT'S EARLY, but we wanted to make sure we got at least one front lawn decoration before they were all sold out everywhere. The LED snowman will go on a bed of sparkly snow in our front yard. Pictures to come during the holidays, of course! And the Jack Skellington ornament was an Amazon.com find we couldn't pass up! We watch "The Nightmare Before Christmas" every year the day after Halloween, one of our many holiday traditions together!
One of Freddo's favorite things to do it look out the window in the office. had to snap a pic of his cuteness!
My grandma pulled out a Time magazine from 1978 and I saw this advertisement. Josh and I have history with this movie, so it was cool to see an ad for it, for real, in print! :)
This weekend, we enjoyed a few alcoholic beverages after a stressful week. The Angry Orchard Cinnful Apple cider was amazing, very crisp and not too spicy. And, in the bottom photo, Josh prepared me a Midori Sour, one of my favorite sweet drinks. It's been a while since I had had one!
My mom, her boyfriend, Josh and I had a bonfire a few days ago, and we were able to try out the new beach chairs we bought. They work perfectly! My mom's boyfriend is a great fire maker. :)
Part of my Halloween costume for a party we went to last weekend...any guesses? ;)
WALTER WHITE!!! YEAH!!! I've had my costume pretty much since the beginning of October. We even made blue rock candy meth and everything. We had a bit of a snafu with the bald cap being too small, but I didn't really need it. It was amazing...
...and I WON best female costume at the party we went to! WOOHOO!! We had a blast getting the costume ready, I couldn't have done it without Josh gluing pieces of beard onto my face, LOL. Also, I don't ever want a beard IRL.

How have your past few weeks been, waxy friends?! Let me know! :)

  1. What was Josh's costume?

Nothing wrong with buying Christmas decorations early. If you're putting them out this early though...... Although, since we are in Wisconsin where we don't have the luxury of nice weather to be stringing lights outside in early December, we have been known to get our outside decorations up in November but not turn them on until day after Thanksgiving.

When I saw those pumpkin donuts at my store, I sent a pic to my sister who is Pumpkin Queen this time of year. LOL

    1. Josh was Finn the Human from Adventuretime, a cartoon on Adult Swim.

We just wanted to make sure we got some new decorations for the outside of the house this year. I always say, no problem in being well prepared! Our decorations don't go out until the day after Thanksgiving, maybe a few days earlier though since Thanksgiving is late in the month. Will you take photos of your decorations? :)

We started our thankful tree today. Each day until Thanksgiving each girl, hubs and I write one thing on a leaf we are thankful for and put it on the tree.
