Review: Ollie's Soaps Pink Lemon Curd

Lemon in any variation, but especially lemon curd is one of my absolute favorite scents, I'm sure I've mentioned that a time or two. I feel the same way about pink sugar. Ahhhh, just thinking about pink sugar lemon land makes me ridiculously happy. ;)
Ayano, the owner of this wax shop, has started her own cupcake business, so she isn't making wax right now, and it's a damn shame because she makes some brilliant products.

Ollie's Soaps Pink Lemon Curd is one of those absolutely fabulous scents by Ayano. Both the pink sugar and the lemon curd are super strong in this blend, but the lemon is definitely the star in this scent! I used 3 little bunny tarts and proceeded to wax heaven.

I melted these bad bunnies in the bedroom, and the throw was spectacularly high. It lingered out into the TV room and hallways. These had plenty of cure time, so I'm sure that's what contributed to the amazing throw.
Unfortunately, I am out of these tarts. SADNESS! I wish Ayano the best, but can I be real for a minute?? COME BACK!! You had some scents that I just haven't found anywhere else. :)

Ollie's Soaps Pink Lemon Curd
Cold Rating: 7.5/10; this has had a long cure time, and it smells awesome on cold sniff!
Lit Rating: 9/10; almost perfect! The lemon curd and pink sugar mix so well together, especially from Ollie's Soaps. Just fabulous. I probably could have used less tarts but I started with 3 not knowing how good this would be!
Throw Rating8/10; lingerings of this scent could be smelled throughout most parts of the house.
Overall Rating8/10; lemonade. All my favorite businesses closing, sadness. Summering winding down. The long and winding road. more days inside melting wax than outside because of extreme heat in San Diego. Pink sugar land x 1000.

  1. This makes me sad I won't be able to try her wax. I, too, hope she comes back.
Pink lemonade sounds fabulous right now. OHMYGOSH, have you tried the strawberry lemonade from Jack? Sugar in a cup never tasted so refreshing!

    1. Strawberry Lemonade from Jack in the Box?? NO! OMG, that sounds amazing...a Breakfast Jack sounds good, too, LOL. It doesn't get better than $0.99 for a breakfast sandwich. ;)

Hopefully Ayano will come back soon! Her stuff was great!

  4. I wish she'd come back to wax. I only had one small order from her but enjoyed it enough that I would order again.

    1. I wish she'd open, too! BOO! Maybe once she gets into the swing of things, she'll start making wax again.
