Waxy friends! June is in full swing! Melt ye, melt ye! Another lightning round review is upon us! Lots to go around this time, have no fear!

Cold Rating6/10
Lit Rating7.5/10

Overall Rating7/10; great blend of pink sugar and vanilla bean noel! Loved it! Lasted 5 hours.
Front Porch's Serendipity Ice Cream
Cold Rating7/10
Lit Rating6.5/10
Throw Rating: 6.5/10
Overall Rating6.5/10; this was a nice, creamy serendipity. Not much else to be said! Lasted 3.5 hours!
Butterfly Lane's Marshmallow Coconut Cream
Cold Rating7/10
Lit Rating7.5/10
Throw Rating6/10
Overall Rating7/10; slightly rounded up, I loved this scent, too! Each individual note can be smelled while warming, I wish Butterfly Lane would open back up again! Lasted 5 hours.
Candles From The Keeping Room's Burnt Cream
Cold Rating: 6/10
Lit Rating2/10
Throw Rating5/10
Overall Rating4/10; rounded down, I hated this scent. It was really gross! I know many people absolutely love this, but it was just not for me. It smelled more like burned butter than creme brulee. Blech! Only melted this for 15 minutes because it was making me sick!
Candles From The Keeping Room's Camu Camu
Cold Rating5.5/10
Lit Rating6/10
Throw Rating4/10
Overall Rating65/10; this is a dupe for the popular Scentsy scent (I think?) and I liked it a lot! Very refreshingly fruity, but it wasn't strong at all. I was bummed! Might do better in a smaller room. Used 2 tarts, lasted 5 hours.
Jack Be Nimble Candle Creations' Day at the Spa
Cold Rating6.5/10
Lit Rating7.5/10
Throw Rating6/10
Overall Rating6.5/10; was unsure of how I would like this one, but it was really nice! Very spa-like, lots of lemongrassy scent, lovely! Lasted 7 whopping hours in the kitchen!
Tiffany Candles Sugar Cookies (old photo)
Cold Rating7/10
Lit Rating8/10
Throw Rating7.5/10
Overall Rating7.5/10; this is a super almond smelling sugar cookie and I LOVE it! It smells wonderful! I've repurchased this several times. Lasted 6 hours!
Pics, Petals & Scents' Lime Fruit Loops
Cold Rating6/10
Lit Rating: 5/10
Throw Rating4/10
Overall Rating5/10; not strong while warming, unfortunately. I liked this cold, but warm...it had a weird undertone to it. Not a fan, but it did last 4.5 hours.
The Bathing Garden's Crystallized Spearmint & Peppermint (old photo, finished clamshell!)
Cold Rating7/10
Lit Rating7/10
Throw Rating7/10
Overall Rating7/10; across the board on this one, it's a great nighttime scent! Even for people who don't like spearmint (me), I think you'll enjoy this. lasts long, too, 8 hours(ish) each time! Use 2 cubes for optimal strength.
Lasting Scent Candles' Bedazzle
Cold Rating8/10
Lit Rating9/10
Throw Rating8.5/10
Overall Rating8.5/10; you know those blue slushies you can get at Target and the fair and places like that? This smelled like that! Blue raspberry sweet slushie...absolutely incredible. Delish! Lasted an outstanding 12 hours, all day!!
Molten Melts' Black Raspberry Vanilla
Cold Rating6/10
Lit Rating8/10
Throw Rating10/10
Overall Rating8/10; this wasn't super strong on cold sniff, but DAMN, it was INSANE while warming! The throw was perfection, too, I could smell this OUT TO MY CAR!! Loved it! Lasted 7 hours!
Tiffany Candles Pink Peppermint (old photo, woodwick candle)
Cold Rating6/10
Lit Rating6/10
Throw Rating5.5/10
Overall Rating6/10; love pink peppermint from Tiffany Candles, and love their woodwick candles! They are perfect for any occasion. But, I wish this had been stronger. I will try it in a 2-wick candle next time!
Tiffany Candles Hocus Pocus and Apple Cinnamon Spice (2 tarts combined)
Cold Rating7/10
Lit Rating6.5/10
Throw Rating7/10
Overall Rating: 7/10; I wanted to see if I could make Hocus Pocus a bit more spicy, so I added Apple Cinnamon Spice! It was a good attempt at a blend, and it turned out alright. I would love this in a candle! Lasted for about 5 hours.
Rosegirls Sweet Lemon Confection, Pink Sugar & Gilligan's Brew
Cold Rating7.5/10
Lit Rating7/10
Throw Rating7/10
Overall Rating7/10; these 3 scents blended well together to make something delicious. I melted this in the office, and got great results. Lasted 6 hours, would repurchase!

  1. I've had CFTKR's Burnt Cream and actually liked it. I had to go back and check what I'd posted about it because I couldn't remember offhand, but yeah, in the post I said it reminded me of chocolate cake and that I would order it again. Funny.

I think you mislabeled the Camu Camu part of your post.

    1. Lots of people seem to love Burnt Cream and Carol's milk scents! I just can't get into buttery stuff, it seems!

Ooooh, thanks for telling me, I changed it! :)

  2. Wow have you been burning some goodies! I've been really into lemon...so that RoseGirl 3-scent mix looks divine! That pink sugar candle looks so pretty! Are those real sprinkles or wax! It looks yummy to eat, and I can't imagine how good it must smell!

    1. Lemon is the universal summer scent, in my opinion! Anything lemon from Rosegirls is a surefire winner. Carol from CFTKR has been adding REAL sprinkles to her wax recently, it just makes them that much more fun to melt! :D
