Review: The Bathing Garden's Snowed In

After the Harvest fiasco I had the other day,  my main scent goal was finding something spicy to takes its disappointing place. What I stumbled upon in my Project Wax bag was nothing short of a miracle.
(...wow, that photo is HORRIBLY slanted, ha!)

Knowing what I know (well, what little I know) about online wax vendors, I have had nothing but positive experiences with The Bathing Garden. Shannon, the owner of this Etsy shop (soon to be independent website after the holidays!) does a ridiculously fantastic job at making highly scented wax clamshells. Besides making great products, she is also known for adding special little touches, like the little snowflake in the corner of my clamshell. I have gotten several items from her, each one a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Snowed In was no exception, as it was simply amazing. Describing this will really do no justice to the power it possessed; it traveled throughout the condo and lingered for long after it the warmer was turned off. The spiciness from just two cubes was wonderfully overpowering, which is exactly what I was seeking after my Harvest letdown (yes, it needed repeating). Between the cinnamon/nutmeg/clove aroma, there was definitely apple in this scent, maybe some mild berry notes, too. I don't have a scent description because she doesn't have this particular product for sale right now, but this is DEFINITELY a spice based scent. One of my favorites from Shannon, for sure!

The Bathing Garden's Snowed In
Cold Rating: 7/10; very strong in the clamshell, surprisingly so: often times, spicy scents can get muted on cold sniff!
Lit Rating: 8.5/10; a fabulous mix of spice with mild fruitiness; just lovely!
Throw Rating: 8/10; traveled far, lasted long, wonderful performance.
Overall Rating: 8/10; one of my favorites from The Bathing Garden, and I've now come to the realization that I prefer smaller online vendors over Yankee...*sigh*
